ASNA PODLUCKS - MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS
Join Us for a Neighborhood Podluck!
ASNA is excited to co-host Neighborhood Podlucks—coming soon to a street near you!
What’s a Pod?
Living rurally means we’re not organized by city blocks, but by clusters of nearby homes—what we call Pods. A Pod is a group of about 8–15 adjacent homes—your most immediate neighbors. These are the folks you might borrow sugar from, feed their cat, or water their plants while they’re away.
Your Pod is also your first line of connection in staying Firewise and disaster-prepared.
What’s a Podluck?
Pod + Potluck = Podluck
Cute, right? It’s a casual gathering of neighbors in your Pod—everyone brings a dish to share and connects over food, friendship, and preparedness.
Why are we hosting Podlucks?
Because we want to get to know you! Podlucks are more than just a fun way to meet your neighbors—they’re an opportunity to:
- Build community connections
- Learn about wildfire prevention
- Prepare for emergencies and evacuation
- Plan how to support each other when it matters most

Want to help host a Podluck on your street?
We’re looking for a flat, open space like a driveway, backyard, or quiet section of road where neighbors can gather with camp chairs. We’ll bring folding tables and pop-up tents if needed—no equipment required on your part!
Let’s build a stronger, more connected community—one Podluck at a time.
